Engagement, Commitment, and Motivation

We often think of “engagement” as a premarital contract.  When you think about it, it’s a pretty STRONG commitment.  64% of marriages fail, but you rarely hear of an engaged couple splitting up.  Employee engagement then is an INSANE commitment to the organization.  If you get that kind of commitment, you can’t help but be successful.

Fortunately, there are things you can do as a manager to create the conditions that lead to engagement.  This workshop gives you those tools.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the power of values in motivating individuals
  • Leverage motivation theory to develop better incentive programs
  • Develop an engagement strategy using the Force-Field Analysis
  • Implement new initiatives to motivate and inspire the workforce

What the course covers:

This course begins with a look at your personal interaction style and how it impacts your ability to communicate.  We’ll then take a look at values and their impact on motivation.   Finally, we’ll develop strategies around developing processes and ideas to minimize resistance to engagement.  You’ll leave with ready-to-implement strategies!
