Course Overview:
People aren’t naturally difficult to deal with. We’re all born with unique personality characteristics that are “hard-wired” into us.
The key to being more effective with others is to first discover how we’re put together, then we can learn to be more understanding of the personality quirks of others.
Through the use of Jungian psychology via the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) and the theory of Temperament, based on the work of David Keirsey and Marilyn Bates, we can better understand the predictable patterns all of us display.
After completing this course, attendees will be able to:
- Know your personality preference (using the MBTI®) to develop and leverage your own creative strengths.
- Gain new clues on discovering the personality preferences of others.
What the course covers:
This course begins with a look at the theory of Type and Temperament. Attendees will take the MBTI® in class and, through a series of interactive activities, discussion, and video clips, embrace their own preference while learning more about the preferences of others. All attendees will be given detailed reports on their Type and Temperament which they can take home for self-study.
