thing, just part of being an organization. Ignoring them however can be detrimental to your professional and organizational success.
This course will leverage the power of politics, your ability to leverage influence and power, and the requirement of building and using alliances where necessary.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- Use and leverage a new definition of organizational politics
- Master styles of influence and sources of power
- Put those together into a useful tool to identify influencers, opponents, and proponents of your proposal.
What the course covers:
This course begins with a look at your Temperament (using the MBTI®) and how it impacts your ability to Influence. We’ll then take a look at the sources of power you use and are affected by. We’ll identify your Influence Style using the Influence Strategies Exercise (ISE) tool. Finally, we’ll put all this together into a useful process and tool that will ensure your ability to succeed in a highly political and competitive environment.
